Social Responsibility
World Manufacturing Group is dedicated to ensuring the highest level of respect for our employees, their families, and the communities in which we operate. We believe that social responsibility is the foundation upon which all business is built.
Since we are a source of goods sold in many major retailers in North America, our sites are inspected regularly to ensure compliance with the retailer's safety and environmental standards. We invite all clients or prospective clients to visit our sites and see our safety and environmental standards.
The World Manufacturing Group's Operating Standards:
- Employees are paid a fair wage for the type of work they perform.
- Work schedules are fair to employees and their families. Overtime requirements are managed through a voluntary process and are not mandated.
- World Manufacturing Group provides a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
- We provide each employee all legally mandated benefits and only employ individuals who are 18 years of age or older.
- Regular assessments of equipment guarding, personal protective equipment (PPE), and chemical safety are conducted.
- Depending on the production site, World Manufacturing Group either provides nutritional meals or gives a subsidy for meals. In addition, many of our sites provide housing for employees. These apartments are above the average relative to space, utilities, and comfort.
- World Manufacturing Group has one of the lowest turnover rates in the manufacturing industry. We attribute this to our continuous goal to manage our sites as if they were located in the U.S., Canada, or Europe.
